Evacuation indicator sign lights and fire emergency lights, smoke detectors are fire protection facilities that we often contact in life.

● Experimental process:

There are volunteers who can't get out without their lights.

As the experiment began, all power was cut off and the "fire site" was dark and full of smoke.The first group of three volunteers went to look for an escape hatch.

The fastest escape took four minutes and 36 seconds, the second took five minutes and 42 seconds, and the third, unable to find the exit, had to be led away in eight minutes and 55 seconds.

"I didn't think it would be so difficult to escape from a fire. I couldn't see anything in it. I could only feel it with my hands."

"I've been around the same place three times," one volunteer sighed to a reporter. "Now I'm even more scared. I just wish there was a light, even a glimmer.If it's a real fire, I'm dead."

The three volunteers in the second group, though in the same "fire environment" as the first group, escaped much more smoothly under the guidance of emergency lights and evacuation sign lights.

The fastest volunteer managed to "escape" in just one minute and 36 seconds.

"I just looked at the signs, followed the directions, and sure enough, I found the exit."Said one volunteer.
